Regarding Submissions: Please view our Submissions page to submit your work and learn more regarding submission guidelines.

If you have a piece that you’d like to submit during one of our open calls, you may do so via our Submissions page.

We do not accept guest posts outside the scope of our Submissions. We are humanities journal, not a blog, and therefore we do not accept pitches for lifestyle content, listicles, and other unrelated subject matter.

We are a volunteer-run humanities journal with the aim of making the humanities – and education in general – more accessible to the public.

We respect our readers, and therefore we do not take on sponsorships, partnerships, or affiliate marketing that does not fully align with our values.

    Our Standards:

    • Educational
    • Accessible
    • Affordable (preferably free)

Organizations we’d love to partner with:

    • Libraries
    • Museums
    • Galleries
    • Booksellers
    • Small businesses or organizations in a humanities-related niche

If you are an organization, business, or brand in a relevant content niche with a product or service that meets the above standards, and would like to reach out to us regarding a sponsorship, partnership or affiliate program, please send an email using the Business Inquiry subject line.

Any earnings that we generate from aforementioned sponsorships, partnerships, or affiliate programs go towards maintenance and upkeep of The Hyacinth Review.

We are not taking on any additional team members at this time.

If your query is regarding copyright, privacy, or content credit, please reach out to us using the General Inquiry subject line. Please be sure to provide as much detail as possible so that we can resolve the matter efficiently.

If you simply do not like something that we published due to the subject matter, author, etc. we would be happy to hear from you regarding the matter. However, due to our role as a humanities journal we aim to provide a safe space for all to express themselves in a respectful manner.
