Sadee Bee is ever-evolving as living with mental illness is…
Set fire to the spires of worship / shatter the cathedrals
beneath them / turn Holy ground into / Unconsecrated
ashes / carve stained glass into athames / conjure the
power of spirits buried beneath / long forgotten victims
of persecution / broken bodies buried beneath
grow like seeds to fuel the rebellion / It was never about
the Witches they did not burn / but the ones they did /
A war steeped in blood of innocents / still rages /
Raze monuments erected for villains / for men who
filled mass graves to cover their evil deeds /
to silence dissenters / wild women who dared to speak /
Darker hues that refused to break their backs /
Those who refused to worship / a faceless deity /
whose words have only been spoken by mortal men /
Take your stained glass athames / fortify them with wrath /
with blood of fallen ancestors / time has come for
vengeance / to end this war / Empires built on Holy
order must fall / all between ground and sky /
belongs to no man / no God /
Only to those whose souls paid the price /
Nothing is more divine than the ability to choose /
to live in a world not ruled by some destined to lose /
Sadee Bee is ever-evolving as living with mental illness is never a straight line and hopes to be a voice and advocate for those like her. She uses art as an outlet as well, creating whatever comes to mind, and is heavily drawn to speculative and out-of-this-world elements. I make digital, multimedia art using collage elements. She takes these elements then warps them, adds her own color ideas, and creates a scene based off of the original element she chose (photobashing). She is inspired by strange dreams, magic, and creepy vibes. Her artwork is a digital diary for her and she often draws inspiration from poems she's written or songs she's listened to.
