Hanging Basket ~
hanging from the lintel
of the high tree
hooked to the upward iron curve of
the branching bough
full of flowering
hot with promise and lavender lines
in the syrup of spring that
drips from the trialling bee-leaves
humming and dripping like ivy
following gravity slowly
the bees come, hum
rub their faces in the soft petal and pollen
the honeycomb yellow
planted and watered
homemade in hexagons
full of the weather and weathering
grasses and greenery
decorate, with height hierarchy
