Andrea Laws

Andrea Laws currently resides in Lawrence, KS, working professionally in the field of scholarly publishing for the University Press of Kansas. Andrea graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in English, with a focus on creative writing, and a B.A. in film studies, with a focus on film theory and criticism. Andrea's poetry has been published in three compiled books of poetry, five literary journals and magazines, and featured on three poetry blogs. To continue to utilize her proofreading and editing skills, Andrea assists buyers on Fiverr with their creative writing projects including: poetry, fiction, screenplays, and anything written in English. Andrea also volunteers as an associate editor for Bewildering Stories, reading short fiction submissions, and creates jewelry for her eBay shop OutLaws Jewelry. In April, 2019, a photo of Andrea modeling her Mary Shelley portrait tattoo was featured in the book Bodies of Words published by December Magazine.
