Suzanna Leigh

Suzanna Leigh is an artist and writer living on an island in the Salish Sea. Her other studio is a 27 foot sailboat, and her adventures on the water are sometimes accompanied by sea lions or whales. She has written and illustrated picture books for children and adults, including “Once When We Were Merfolk”, a picture book inviting young children and their grown ups to explore the oceans with a mermaid and merchild, by following the ocean currents and meeting sea creatures in different salt water environments.
